About Us

MKTF is an Educational Support Ministry

"MKTF is the Education Support arm of the Calvary Ministries. It is established to provide funding for the education of children and wards of missionaries of the organization."

Educational Support is provided for beneficiaries who have established and secured admission into a university, polytechnic and other tertiary institutions.

CAPRO runs two education initiatives, one is the Missionary Kids Tertiary Education Trust Fund (MKTF) and the Missionary Children Education Fund (MCEF). Both the MCEF and MKTF, were inspired by God, stirring the hearts of Christians, through friends of the ministry, (separately, independently, in parallel and at different locations) to respond to the challenge of funding the education requirements of children of missionaries.

Why Support Us

Relief The Burden

One great burden that has dogged missionary parents is that of education of their children. A missionary widow who benefited from the fund testified to how the MKTF scholarship to her son made his university education possible in one of Nigeria's private universities.

Missionary parents do not have special universities for their children. Their children apply to the same schools that the children of career professionals, business and the wealthy go. These missionary children are subject to the same high fees that others. They buy the same books and, often, their parents are barely able to meet the basic necessities of life. MKTF is a succour to these missionary parents.

Our Vision
